The ACHA Leadership Team is comprised of a 9-member volunteer Board of Directors, an Executive Staff overseeing all ACHA operations, 5 Commissioners responsible for supporting membership within their respective Divisions, 8 Regional Coordinators supporting our Men’s Division 2 and 3 Commissioners which are our largest divisions, and a support staff managing various operational areas.
The passion for college hockey and the rewards from providing our student-athletes and teams with the best possible college hockey experience is what makes our Team special and also why most members of the Leadership Team have been associated with the ACHA for over 10 years!
Paul Hebert was elected as the sixth President of the ACHA in February of 2016 following 23 years of involvement in various capacities.
Jim has been the ACHA Treasurer since 2013 and is responsible for the oversight and safeguarding of the organization’s finances
Jurasek has a USA Hockey Level 5 Master’s certification to go with over 30 years of coaching experience which includes the ACHA
Gordie grew up playing the game in the metro Detroit area. Went to Ferris State University where he began his affiliation with the ACHA as a player.
Steve Hyjek serves as the ACHA’s Vice President for Men’s Division 3, as well as serving as the Head Coach of George Mason University’s Ice Hockey program
Ashley Harper is currently the Girls Hockey Director at Navy Youth Hockey in Annapolis, Maryland, where she also serves as a coach.
Deming will serve the remainder of the position’s two-year term, which became available when former W2 VP Scott Hicks resigned from the position in May 2020.
Ashley Bevan joined USA Hockey as the organization’s manager of events administration in April 1998. He held that position until August 2000.
