Started coaching in British Columbia with Lorne Bunyan and the Bantam AA Provincial Champions, North Island Eagles back in the late 1990's.  After taking a few years off, Oucharek coached Walla Walla College for a year in 1998 but left that to coach for TCAHA at the Bantam A level before starting his own high school club.  That team, the Tri-City Ambassadors, played in the PNAHA Midget AAA division for two years.  Coach O then came back to Walla Walla where he is in his fifth season.
