Team Staff Profile - Evgueni Erchov

Evgueni Erchov joined NVCC hockey program as a manager in 2010 and helped build the program by providing structure and leadership before being deployed for nearly a year and half in Iraq and Afghanistan. Growing up in Russia, he always loved winter and indoor sports. During the state-level completions, Coach Erchov achieved national elite level qualifying times in cross-country skiing and swimming. He also played for two years on the varsity basketball team at the National Research Nuclear University (note: former Moscow Physical Engineering Institute). Coach Erchov is currently pursuing a PhD in computer science from George Mason University. He also holds B.S. degree in Information Systems and Technologies from National Research Nuclear University and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from George Washington University. He works as a Deputy Division Chief at U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and serves as an Army Reserve Cyber Threat Intelligence Officer. Coach Erchov is a veteran of operations Iraqi Freedom (OIF), New Dawn (OND), and Enduring Freedom (OEF). He is also the recipient of a Bronze star.
