Team Staff Profile - Frank DiCristofaro Sr.

Head Coach Frank Sr. (Senior) brings a strong hockey background to the Warrior program. He has amassed over 1,000 wins and his coaching experience spans three decades of successful hockey that included stints with Major Junior, Junior, AAA, High School, and now College hockey.
Senior began coaching as an Assistant with the Detroit Junior Red Wings in the Southern Ontario Hockey League (now, OHL). From there, he led multiple Detroit Little Caesars Hockey teams and then adjusted his scenery to high school hockey in Michigan where his stops included Southgate Anderson High School, Allen Park Cabrini High School, Allen Park High School, University of Liggett School, and ended with the St. Clair Shores Unified High School team.
In his high school career, he has amassed over 500 wins, multiple league and regional championships, multiple high school “frozen four” appearances, and three state championships with two different schools. He has also been voted into the Michigan High School Hockey Coach’s Association Hall of Fame. He now brings his extensive knowledge to the collegiate ranks where his primary responsibilities will be to apply his vast knowledge to offense, defense, and special teams.
Personal: Frank Sr. currently lives in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI with his wife, Renee. They have two sons (Frank Jr., Anthony), and one daughter (Leah). His son, Frank Jr., is the Head Hockey Coach at Wayne State University and played professional hockey in metro Detroit and Chicago. His daughter, Leah is the Hockey Information Director for the team after recently completing her degree at Oakland University where she led the softball team in many offensive categories. Frank Sr. and his wife, Renee, both work in Southeast Michigan.
