Coach Frank brings a strong hockey background to the Warrior program.  He has played at the Junior, Collegiate, and professional level, while garnering most of his coaching experience at the high school level. He comes to WSU from the St. Clair Shores Unified High School Hockey Team where he was Co-Head Coach.
As a coach, he helped guide the St. Clair Shores Unified High School Hockey team to 5 league titles and 2 State Regional Championships.  He has developed several players that have moved on to the Junior, Collegiate, and professional levels. Coach Frank has a USA Hockey Level 4 coaching card, and is also a member of the American Hockey Coaches Association.
As a player, he played Jr. A for the Downriver Bombers of the Continental Elite Hockey League, helping to bring the Bombers their first playoff appearance in franchise history, collecting 13 points with the team. From there, he was a brief member of the Wayne State University NCAA college hockey program. After his collegiate days, he played with the Detroit Dragons, Chi-Town Shooters, and Detroit Hitmen of the AAHA / AAHL, putting together 20 points in 20 games.
Personal: Frank currently lives in St. Clair Shores, MI with his wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Alexis. His father, Frank Sr. is a retired hall of fame member of the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association, and has won several state titles during his tenure as a coach.
