Rankings FAQ
How are the rankings determined?
Teams are ranked by a committee of coaches who each vote individually, and then ballots are averaged with the high and low vote for each team being dropped.

How do I become a ranking committee member?
Each division establishes their committes by October 1 of each season. The division VP or Commissioner will ask for nominations from team contacts, usually in early to mid September. Only non-player team personnel (coaches, advisors, etc.) are allowed to be nominated.

What are the rankings used for?
The most important thing the rankings do is determine who will be invited to the national tournament. The final ranking of the season must be issued one month prior to the national tournament so that teams who are invited can make the appropriate travel arrangements. After the final ranking is issued, the Commissioner extends invitations to the National Championship.

Can I look at the rankings from a previous season?
Past years' rankings will be posted as the archives section is re-developed. Thanks for your patience as we transfer all of this information.
