FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13 AT CENTER ICE OF DUPAGE

GLEN ELLYN, IL – Jason O’Bannon (Kent State) and Pierce Butler (Illinois) each scored 2 goals apiece to pace the United States Select Team to a 7-2 win over DePaul University.  Jim Gehring (West Chester) added a goal and 3 assists to lead the team with 4 points.  Daryl Dee (Oklahoma) and Devin Sheehan (Rhode Island) rounded out the scoring, each with 1 goal and 2 assists.  On the playmaking side, Jaime Zimmel (Penn State) dished out 2 helpers, while Kyle Krannich (Rhode Island) tallied 1 assist.

 

Paul Marshall (Ohio) got the start and win in goal, stopping13 of 15 shots in 30:03 of action.  Stephen Yu (Michigan-Dearborn) played the final 29:57 of regulation, stopping all 14 shots he faced.

 

The United States Select Team outshot DePaul 50-29 for the game.
