2008-2009 ACHA Men's Division 1 Ranking #62008-12-19
ILLINOIS #1 FOR 16TH CONSECUTIVE RANKINGUNION LAKE, MI - The defending ACHA Men's Division 1 National Champions, the University of Illinois, received 27 of a possible 39 votes to top the polls in Ranking #6. #2 Lindenwood University received 11 first place votes, while Penn State University received one vote.
The seventh ranking of the regular season will be released on Friday, January 16.
The 2009 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships will be hosted by John Carroll University and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and will take place March 14-18, 2009 at the Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, OH. Sixteen teams will qualify for the tournament.
