UNION LAKE, MI –Adrian College is the #1 ranked team in the country for the third consecutive week in the 2012-2013 ACHA Men's Division 1 Ranking #16. Adrian, the Regular Season Champions of the Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League with an autobid to the 2013 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships, received 35 out of 43 first-place votes to maintain its grip atop the polls. Arizona State received 5 first-place votes while #3 Minot State a first–place vote and #4 Robert Morris Illinois received the other 2 first-place votes. For the second consecutive week, the top ten spots in the ranking were unchanged from last week.
In the middle of the pack, #11 Delaware, #13 Iowa State, and #15 Central Oklahoma all moved up one spot this week, while John Carroll, Regular Season Champions of College Hockey Mid-America with an autobid to the 2013 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships, makes its debut in the polls coming in at #25.

Only one weekend of play remains before the 20 team field will be determined for the 2013 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships. Four of those teams are already known via autobids: Adrian (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League); John Carroll (College Hockey Mid-America); Navy (Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association); and Robert Morris Illinois (Host).

The 2013 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships will be hosted March 1-6 by Robert Morris University Illinois at The Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, IL. This will be the second year of the 20-team format.
