UNION LAKE, MI – For the fourth consecutive week, the Arizona State University Sun Devils are the #1 ranked team in the country, receiving all 39 first-places votes to claim the top spot in the 2012-2013 ACHA Men's Division 1 Ranking #9. With a perfect 18-0-0 record, the Sun Devils are the only undefeated team left in the country and received the first unanimous vote of the season after going on the road and beating Central Oklahoma and then sweeping a pair from Oklahoma.
.
The rest of the Top 5 remained unchanged, with #2 Adrian, #3 Robert Morris Illinois, #4 Ohio, and #5 Minot State all holding their spots. The bottom half of the Top 10 remained the same five teams, but there was a little shuffling going on: #6 Illinois, #7 Davenport, and #9 Lindenwood all moved up a spot this week, while #8 Oklahoma spiraled down two spots and #10 Oakland slid down a spot.
.
This week’s big mover-and-shakers were #12 Liberty and #16 Central Oklahoma as each team moved up 2 spots this week. Liberty managed to split a pair of games on the road with Stony Brook, but was the benefactor of #13 Iowa State getting swept by Lindenwood and #14 Rhode Island losing to unranked Scranton. Meanwhile, the Bronchos lost to #1 Arizona State 4-0, but then swept away #17 Arizona to complete its weekend.
