UNION LAKE, MI – For the third consecutive ranking, there is a new #1 team, and this time it is Ohio University’s turn. The Bobcats received 28 out of 47 first-places votes to claim the top spot in the 2012-2013 ACHA Men's Division 1 Ranking #2. With 4 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships, it’s hard to believe that the last time Ohio was ranked #1 was way back on October 22, 2004, nearly 8 years ago. #2 Arizona State inched closer to the top spot, receiving 16 first-place votes, and attained its highest ranking in team history. #3 Oakland and #4 Oklahoma each moved up a spot this week, while last week’s top ranked team Lindenwood fell to the #5 spot.
The other three first-place votes went to #6 Delaware, #9 Adrian, and #10 Central Oklahoma, which each received 1 first-place vote. Central Oklahoma was also this week’s big mover-and-shaker, moving up 4 spots from last week. Rounding out the top 10 vote getters were #7 Liberty and #8 Minot State.

Newcomers into this week’s ranking were #23 Syracuse and #25 Eastern Michigan.
