Miken Hockey, which is one of the leading designers and manufactures of composite hockey sticks in the United States, has been named an “Official Partner of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).”
“We are pleased with the sponsorship agreement with the American Collegiate Hockey Association,” Miken Sports General Manager Jim Hoscheit said. “The ACHA is a well-respected organization that helps promote the sport of hockey. That is exactly what we hope to do with this sponsorship.”
Miken Hockey, which is a division of Miken Sports of Caledonia, Minnesota, has been designing and manufacturing composite hockey sticks for the past decade. Legendary Hall of Famer Brett Hull serves a product development advisor for Miken Hockey. A number of NHL stars are currently using Miken sticks. They include David Booth of the Vancouver Canucks, Matt Hendricks of the Washington Capitals and Matt Smaby of the Anaheim Ducks.
The Minnesota-based company also supplies hockey gloves, bags, performance socks and apparel.
