The 2011 American Collegiate Hockey Association [ACHA] Women's Division 2 Coach-of-the-Year Award, presented by Harrow Sports, goes to Heath Isaacson of South Dakota State University.

This is the second ACHA Women's Division 2 Coach-of-the-Year Award for Heath in the last five seasons, having also won the inaugural award in 2007.

Heath will be presented his ACHA Women's Division 2 Coach-of-the-Year Award at the American Hockey Coaches Association Coach-of-the-Year Celebration on Friday, April 29, 2011, at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Naples, FL.

Heath finished his 6th season as Head Coach of the South Dakota State University Women’s Hockey Team, leading the Jackrabbits to an 18-6-0-1 record and a 4th Place finish at the 2011 ACHA Women’s Division 2 National Tournament. In 2004, Isaacson helped start the South Dakota State Women’s program and in 2006 they would become members of the ACHA. South Dakota State took 3rd Place at the 2007 National Tournament in Amherst, MA, and 5th Place at the 2010 National Tournament in Blaine, MN. His ACHA coaching record is 58-24-0-5.

He led the men’s team to their only two ACHA Men’s Division 3 National Tournament appearances in school history and was ranked as one of the top 5 goalies in ACHA Men’s Division 3, three seasons in a row.

During his career at South Dakota State, Isaacson posted a .904 save percentage, earning a 60-36-6 record while facing more than 4,000 shots.
