Isaacson and South Dakota State University (SDSU) finished this season 15-8-0-2 and a .60 winning percentage, with a Division II record of 12-2-0-2. The 15 wins were the most in SDSU history, despite having only 9 skaters on the team. The Jackrabbits headed into the ACHA Women’s Division II National Tournament as the #2 ranked team in the country, and finished the season as the 3rd Place team. Heath has been the head coach since the team began play in 2004.
Heath is originally from Cokato, MN, and played high school hockey for the Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato Dragons. He is a SDSU alumnus, and was goaltender for the Men’s team from 1999-2004 where he still holds 16 SDSU goaltending records. He also helped lead the team to a 2nd and 6th place finish in the 2001 and 2004 Men’s Division III National Tournament, respectively.
