FORMER ACHA COACH AT LAWRENCE TECH

Head Coach Kevin Gee enters his 15th season coaching and his first behind the Eagles bench.

Named the 2008-2009 Coach of the Year in the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference while at Lawrence Technological University, Gee spent last season behind the bench for the Detroit Belle Tire Midget Major AAA team. Gee spent five seasons with Detroit Victory Honda Midget Major AAA where his team earned a State Championship in 2005, and made finals appearances in 2004 and 2006.  Gee has coached over 50 players that have gone on to NCAA, Major Junior, and professional hockey, and 7 NHL draft picks, including 1st round selections Chris Summers, PHX, 2006 and Ian Cole, STL, 2006.

In addition to his duties at EMU, Coach Gee is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University and works as a scout for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL.
