The 2010 American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Men’s Division 1 Rookie-of-the-Year Award goes to forward #22 Brent Boschman of Liberty University, as selected by the Head Coaches of ACHA Men's Division 1.

With highlight reel goals and a knack for the net, Brent lit the lamp 37 times landing him at the top of ACHA Men’s Division 1 hockey. Of those 37, Brent was also first in power play goals with 18. His total 69 points this season landed him 3rd in the Nation, lagging only 2 spots behind his own linemate, ACHA First Team All-American Kyle Dodgson, who led the league with 77 points. Brent's impact on his team was unmistakable as he also was awarded Liberty Hockey Rookie-of-the-Year by his teammates and coaches. Boschman played the majority of his freshman season with senior Dodgson and junior Stephen Moller, and served on a dynamite power play unit alongside Dodgson and Jonathan Chung. Brent helped propel Liberty to a very strong year with 29 wins and 3 losses during the regular season. Brent and his linemates combined for 73 goals, 92 assists, and a total of 165 points on the season.
Brent hails from Stittsville, Ontario, and chose to attend Liberty after having played his final season of junior hockey for the Stittsville Royals in the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) at the Junior B level.
